GDPR Policy

The League of Friends is committed to protecting the rights and privacy of all of its friends and associates in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of May 2018.  This new and updated regulatory environment demands higher transparency and accountability in terms of how we manage and use others personal data. It also means that there are now new and stronger rights for individuals to understand and control that use.

Our GDPR policy contains provisions that the League are aware of as data controllers, including provisions intended to enhance the protection of friends’ personal data. Our privacy notice is written in a clear, plain and concise way.

To comply with the various legal obligations that have arisen as a result, including the obligations imposed on it by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the League of Friensa ensures all that all this information about individuals is collected and used fairly, stored safely and securely, and not disclosed to any third party unlawfully.
